To my Uncle Jim and to all of Mary’s children and grandchildren,
I was so sorry to learn of Mary’s stroke and of her passing. I really enjoyed spending time with Jim & Mary in May when I came to Indy to visit. We went to their favorite restaurant for lunch and had a great visit. I’m so thankful now that we had that visit with Mary. Jim, I love you! Let me know of anything I can do to help.

Hello. I was the nurse taking care of Mary on this past Saturday when she passed. I was able to meet many of you as she was surrounded by so many family members and so much love. To me that is a beautiful part of being a nurse — seeing family and their loved ones.
I met Mary the first morning she came to the hospital and then again on the her last day. It was a pleasure to care for her and meet all of you. You all loved her enough to honor and respect her wishes and let her go at her time. She was blessed to have you all and I pray that your memories and having each other guide you through this tough time.

Mary was not only my mother’s & mines former neighbor, but she was also a dear friend to my mother & I. She was also like a mother to my mother & like an another grandmother to me. My mother & I really & truly loved, admired, cared for, & thought of Mary everyday. We sure enjoyed knowing her & Jim, along with some of the family that we’ve met at her place! May God Bless her forever! We will see you soon Mary. We love you!
